From the North
- Take the A1 south towards Leeds.
- Take the A64 exit and head west towards Leeds.
- Follow the directions "From the East".

From the East
- Take the M62 west towards Leeds.
- At junction 29, turn off and join the M1 north into Leeds.
- Follow the directions "From the South".
Alternatively...
- Take the A64 (York Road) or A63 (Selby Road) into Leeds; the A63 eventually merges with the A64 at the Halton Moor Interchange.
- At the Halton Moor Interchange, proceed along the A64 through three sets of traffic lights and under the overhead pedestrian bridge.
- At the next set of traffic lights, turn left off the A64 onto the descending slip-road.
- At the roundabout, turn first left onto Ivy Street.
- After 350 yards, go around the sharp corner onto East Park Parade.
- Carry on down East Park Parade for 700 yards.
- Follow the road around a sharp left turn, and carry on for 100 yards.
- At the mini-roundabout, turn right onto Cross Green Lane.
- Proceed along Cross Green Lane for 350 yards.
- Turn right onto Glencoe View.
- Turn left onto St Hilda's Crecent 100 yards further up.
- St Hilda's Guest House is on the right-hand side.

From the West
- Take the M62 east towards Leeds.
- At junction 27, turn left onto the M621.
- At junction 3, keep in the middle lane, and then take the next immediate exit.
- This road runs parallel to the motorway for approximately 0.5 miles.
- At the traffic lights, turn left onto South Accommodation Road.
- Move into the right-hand lane and go through the first set of traffic lights.
- South Accommodation then splits into 3 lanes over the river; keep in the right-hand lane.
- Just past the river, the right-hand lane splits into two; keep in the left-hand lane.
- Go through a set of traffic lights, and then another set 100 yards later.
- Keep in the left-hand lane (signed "Cross Green")
- After the next set of traffic lights, bear right and 50 yards later you'll see a final set of traffic lights.
- Proceed through the traffic lights along Knowsthorpe Crescent, which sweeps left.
- After 100 yards, take the first left turn onto Cross Green Lane.
- Immediately turn right onto Fewston Avenue.
- Turn right onto St Hilda's Crescent 100 yards further up.
- St Hilda's Guest House is towards the end of St Hilda's Crescent, on the left-hand side.

From the South
- Take the M1 north towards Leeds.
- At Junction 43, the M1 motorway splits - keep in the right hand lane(s) onto the M621.
- Leave the M621 at junction 4 and proceed along the bridge over the motorway.
- Go through the first set of traffic lights and carry on along the dual-carriageway for approximately 700 yards.
- At the traffic lights at the junction with Hunslet Road, keep in the middle lane (signed A61 / A63 / A64), and bear left.
- On Hunslet Road, keep in the right-hand lane (signed A61 / A63 / A64).
- Just past the overhead footbridge, and after the traffic lights, turn right onto South Accommodation Road (dual carriageway).
- Keep in the right-hand lane and go through the first set of traffic lights.
- South Accommodation then splits into 3 lanes over the river; keep in the right-hand lane.
- Just past the river, the right-hand lane splits into two; keep in the left-hand lane.
- Go through a set of traffic lights, and then another set 100 yards later.
- Keep in the left-hand lane (signed "Cross Green")
